Totally agree, I still have a set of these and love their sound signature and
the way they fold up so compactly. Their big issue at least with me is that
they are very difficult to wear for an extended period of time.

Well you know what they say, you get exactly what you pay for sometimes.
Some may say the P7 don’t sound to bright in the top of the spectrum and I'd
imagine - by the way Anders is talking - the PX have similar sound though I'm
quite happy with this.
On the subject of headphones, if anyone wants to buy a classic headphone that
has been around for more than 30 years then they may be extremely interested to
know that the excellent Sony MDR7506 is still available even after all this
time.
The MDR7506 doesn't cost that much and - whilst its not a top of the range pair
of cans - the quality of audio is very good along with the build so these cans
may satisfy a lot of people.
I know technicians used to use these cans - and possibly do - all the time and
Sony would use them when demoing digital equipment to the masses so its
possible that many of you may have seen the MDR7506 cans without knowing it.

Wow that's cool. These things must be real good then if they sound like actual
speakers.
