The other thing I find fascinating about all this is that company’s who work for blind people setting up computers and the like still insist on installing Winamp and I obviously don’t agree with that. The first reason being that we don’t really know what the future of Winamp is apart from the fact that it really hasn’t been developed on a serious level for quite some time. What we do know however is that Windows Media Player is still being developed by Microsoft. Windows Media Player seems to be quite accessible and so to the question. Why bother installing Winamp and making possible problems, why not just use Windows Media Player which is installed by default anyway and save a great deal of time and trouble.
