I should have said would there be a way to get the information should cdex not bring it in. I have manually done some albums but first I have to obtain the right information then start typing. The latter is a real pain for me. Thanks for responding.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "stop this". if it can't identify something, it still has to name the files somehow. Cdex's default database, which I think used to be gracenote, has been dead for a while, I thought. I know you can set it up to work with another, potentially, and if you are actually getting some albums identified it sounds like you have already done that? I know mine doesn't identify anything, but I'm ok with that as I just enter in everything manually and there are no errors, unlike databases, where there are often errors in track names and misidentifications of albums. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of John Heath via groups.io Sent: March 31, 2022 02:42 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [all-audio] a cdex question Occasionally when using Cdex the program can't find information on the album being ripped. Instead of track name and artist no artist is all it shows. Are there steps to stop this? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
