Hi Adrian: Have you tried uninstalling the program and then reinstalling it? Sometimes that helps. It's possible that maybe the program ggot corrupted or something. Mike

The only way I can now pause playback of a recording is to go into VLC's menus. Alt-p won't work to resume play, so I need to go back into the menus to do that as well. Moving forward and backwards with the arrow keys works fine.
