hi John,

you can uninstall it, but are you sure it is just dolby access that is causing 
the problem.
i have dolby access running along with VLC media player for listening to things 
and i don't have any lag on anything i play.
but if you want to get rid of it just hit the windows key, go down to the apps 
list, highlight dolby access and bring up the context menu and you will find 
the uninstall button there.
