Hi Casey!

In goldwave with your file loaded, press
Ault-T this will take you to the Options menu.
Then press "Ault-a" to insert markers then press Enter twice for this to
happen.
Once Goldwave has created the q points, press "Ault-s" and Goldwave will
split the file in to separate tracks.

I hope this helps.

Subject: [all-audio] gold wave and manually splitting files question

Hi if you have an album that is one long file.

And you would like to use gold wave to split up the file in to separate
tracks.

What is the best way to do that?

And how do you rewind and fast forward The file so you can add your start
and end markers where you want them?

And what keys do you use for the start and end markers?

One last question is when you are playing the file and you want to add your
start marker how do you pause the file and resume it so you can add the end
marker when you want to

Casey, USA
