I don't know about tutorials, but with Winamp and JAWS, insert+w and insert+h give the keystrokes for various functions.

Everything menus are gotten to by hitting the application key. It lets me know there are submenus but does not read what is in the submenus. Is there another media player that offers things like time left, equalizer, etc. that is usable with this version of JAWS?
