The first part of this document introduces PRIM from an architectural
perspective, and discusses several common issues among the Presence
and INSTANT MESSAGING protocols, such as name resolution, framing,
access control and security.
The second part details the different methods available in the
PRESENCE and the INSTANT MESSAGING protocols.
