This memo documents a method for forwarding MAC frames over a MAPOS
network. MAPOS is a multiple access protocol for transmission of
network-protocol datagrams, encapsulated in High-Level Data Link
Control (HDLC) frames, over SONET/SDH [1]. This memo describes a
method for forwarding MAC frames over a MAPOS network, thus providing
a way to unify MAPOS network environment and MAC-based LAN
environment.
