Dear kerri,
After discussions with PETA about the suffering Australian lambs endure
during the mulesing mutilation, H&Mone of the worlds largest and trendiest
clothing retailershas announced that it will no longer purchase wool from
farmers who perform this gruesome procedure. Read the news story that swept
across Australia following H&Ms announcement.
H&Ms compassionate decision will help spare countless sheep from having
chunks of their flesh carved off while still conscious, and send a message both
to other clothing retailers and the Australian wool industry that this abuse
must be stopped immediately.
Just as its important for companies to hear from you when theyre doing
harmful things, its also important that they hear from you when they do the
right thing. So please take two minutes and send a thank you note to H&M
telling them how pleased you are to hear that they have taken strong action to
