CMS series of three Provider Compliance Group (PCG) Outreach Calls
August 23, 24 & 25, 2011
1pm-4pmET.
These calls will focus on several Office of the Inspector General (OIG) 
released reports. Outreach and Education Sessions for IRF Documentation, esMD, 
Hospice, "Overview of Reviews" and Navigating Medicare: Power Mobility will be 
presented.
The purpose of these calls is to educate providers and suppliers to address 
specific vulnerabilities identified in Office of Inspector General reports. As 
well as to provide education on other issues that exist for items and services 
provided under the Medicare Fee-for-Service (covering Durable Medical Equipment 
Part A, Part B and Home Health and Hospice) settings. CMS Contractor Medical 
Directors, OIG representatives and CMS personnel will address topics regarding 
full compliance with Medicare policy, billing instructions and medical review 
guidance related to reducing improper payments for these items and services.
