I've tried with the version I've downloaded from
http://ftp.stardiv.de/pub/OpenOffice.org/stable/1.1.4/.
I can't reproduce. On my XP 64-bit (build 3790) OOo 1.1.4 installs and starts
fine. OOo 1.9_m71 also works fine.
