------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 25 09:21:57 -0800 2005 ------- If I use OpenOffice to work with .doc (for example) files, I get two kind of messages: * When saving: "This document may contain attributes and information that cannot be saved under <foobar>. Do you want to save your changes using the OpenOffice.org 1.0 Text Document format ?", which I respond typically "No". * And, when exiting: "Saving in external formats may have caused information loss. Do you still want to close ?", which I answer "Yes". My problem is that, after a while using OpenOffice, I hardly read the messages any more, and I find it quite confusing to have two messages that say almost the same thing, but that I have to answer differently... Suggestions: - The messages could be rephrased so that the answer is in both cases "yes". - Better still, there could be a checkbox "show this message next time" in the "Saving in external formats may have caused information loss. ..." --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
