from command prompt Run soffice -base

As of now, a blank new database is opened. But it doesn't contain any data or
any tables could be embedded into it.  If you right click the blank space and
choose the Database menu > Properties ... nothing could be opted for.  

By default OO.o base should come up with the wizard/dialog as to 'what kind of
db should be made or what type of connection to be made etc.

OR

it could make a blank HSQL db and allow the user to create tables/forms/etc.

Whether this is linked with the problem of not able to choose the data source
from this wizard [which used to happen earlier and currently fixed]???
