Hi,

this is not a defect and in no way a Prio 1 task. Have a look at the help page
which pops up if you click on the Priority Link.

As we do not clone Excel, we have to be compatible. In this case we act exactly
as  most other spreadsheets do. As your link shows, a spreadsheet cell can be
both, value and formula. Referencing a blank cell will show up as 0 as the
formula result is in fact zero. Therefore the average has to take it into
account as a valid value.
