After updating my compiler colection to:
$ cc -V
cc: Sun C 5.5 Patch 112760-15 2004/11/10
usage: cc [ options] files. Use 'cc -flags' for details
$ CC -V
CC: Sun C++ 5.5 Patch 113817-10 2004/10/05
(the same as hr mentioned in
http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?listName=dev&msgNo=12691), it works
also without this patch.
