Present scenario:

If the user opts to have quickstart OO.o is loaded to the memory and the
quickstarter is available [This quickstarter of OO.o is a very poor option as
far as the user is concerned, with no additional options to open documents,
create new documents etc. which is already an issue; I hope this also betters]

What OO.o should do:

Even if the quickstart is not opted by the user [one can be done away with if
the following approach is opted] OO.o should load some code to memory so as to
have a faster loading/performance when documents are opened from explorer
[windows]. This might be some sort of taking the user for granted, but MS
OFfice has been doing this throughout and still does this, so does the new
Acrobat Reader 7.0. OO.o adds this shortcut to startup menu if the quickstart
is opted for. Why should OO.o ask the user for this?

As far as a person who opts to open and close documents frequently in a work
atmosphere this 'extra' is not much to ask for. Ultimately performance is the
issue. And the user will prefer to have a speedier OO.o.

I am not a developer; so I feel Developers could contribute to how to bring this
to work without much cuts in the total system performance and the like.
