------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jan 29 05:20:33 -0800 2005 ------- using Version 680m74. Now things have become more severe and confusing. If you open a document [.doc file] which is already opened elsewhere, OO.o opens it straightaway and that too in edit mode not the read-only mode as it used to earlier. I did some eidting and tried to save the document. First it asked whether I want tokeep the Winword format or OO.o format and then it gave me a file read error message and 'General I/o error. This is quite confusing for the normal user. Please give proper notifications and warn the user beforehand. This would be quite helpful in an office atmosphere and people trying to work on the same document over the network. I would say allowing to edit the file in such a situation is severe. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
