Hi Herbert,

How have you been? I have only now taken the time to test OOo 2 with OpenType
fonts on Windows XP SP2.

Iâm not sure about the mandatory ligatures. The problem happens with all the
OpenType CFF fonts I have tested so far (not many, though, but more to come) and
the problem with OpenType TrueType is still here when printing.

For what it's worth, Abiword had a similar problem, and it's now corrected in
Abiword 2.2.3 ((liga) function is enabled, without the possibility to deactivate
it, but the result is good):
