------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 1 06:49:37 -0800 2005 ------- There was not a lot of activity in this regard during late Decemeber and early January, as I took some time off from working on my novel. There has been some software progress, however. In late November, I changed the way I synchronize the files between the two computers to a utility named "Unison". Not only is it much more convenient, but after that change, I have not encountered the problem again! I have no idea how this might have affected anything, of course, but perhaps it has. In mid-January, I also upgraded from OO-1.1.2 to OO-1.1.4. That seems to have fixed some other minor annoyances I had, and I would love to think that this bigger issue has also been cured. So far, so good, anyway, and I am back to working on the novel quite a bit again. If there is a reoccurrence of the problem, I will post as much information as I can gather.
