I agree that the text capitalization is inconsistent and that it should be
consistent. I just spoke with the Writer QA team and they assured me that there
is no chart module. Therefore, "chart" is not a proper name and is to be
translated/localized, just as are "spreadsheet", "formula" and "table", etc. The
general rule is that only proper names are capitalized, not normal words.
So, that said, the "aesthetics" of this list box are in question, not the lovely
logic behind the capitalization, so I've come to the conclusion that the only
way to have consistency and "beauty" is to use title capitalization for all
items in this list box.
Regarding using the plural "charts", I agree that in this list the plural would
be correct because it is a continuation of the fixed text "Add captions
automatically when inserting". BUT, if the same strings are used in other
dialogs or lists for inserting a single object, then the words "spreadsheet",
"formula" and "table", etc have to be singular. Still researching this...
