In that case, I'd say that the older documents were saved with a printer, which
was set as default before.
So since when you've defined the current printer as default and compare the time
with the old docs.
To avoid selecting each time the default printer:
- Open the doc
- Menu File - Printer Settings...
- Choose the printer
- Save the doc
