I can not reproduce that with my 2.0 (1.9.m125) German version WIN XP:
[680m125(Build8947)].
0. I created a new spreadsheet
1. made "Insert Object" toolbar visible
2. marked some empty area as chart content
3. clicked "insert chart" symbol on "Insert Object" toolbar
Mousepointer got special "mark chart area" design
4. Marked some chart area in the sheet
expected: Auto Format Diagram menu card should appear
actual: as expected
@ haicube:
- did you do anything different to cause the problem?
- what does "Marking a table ..." in your report?
- do you erally not get the "mark chart area" design for your mousepointer
in step 3 (pls. see above!)?
