In an impress doc you have an object you want to cut from its actual page and
paste it into another one.
After cutting (or copying) it from the original page you click on the desired
destination page icon on the left-sided preview panel. After this you try to
paste the object but nothing happens. To successfully paste you have to first
re-click again on the new page in the central editing view, otherwise the focus
is antained by the preview panel and the paste command does nothing.
This is quite counter-intuitive: it should work this way only if the object in
the clipboard is a page that can be actually be pasted in the preview panel, not
for any object that cannot be pasted there.
Some confusion with the preview panel arises also when using the zoom commands:
you move from a page to another one with a click on its preview in the left
panel, and then use the zoom to enlarge it because you want to work on a detail.
However the zoom command is applied to the preview panel (in quite unpredictable
fashion) instead of the page to be edited. Yu have to click again on the later
and then re-choose the zoom tool to apply it correctly.
