Hi Suresh,

It is true that you don't find "Rs" for Rupees, but the following locales have
_localized_ currency symbols for INR:

bn_IN: Bengali India
gu_IN: Gujarati India
hi_IN: Hindi India
kn_IN: Kannada India
mr_IN: Marathi India
pa_IN: Punjabi India
ta_IN: Tamil India
te_IN: Telugu India

I guess this is far superior.. ;-)
