Excel import fixed in SRC680/dr41 (OOo 2.0.1)
Now, hyperlinks are not inserted into empty cells anymore. The original
document
contains a hyperlink range A1:IV65536 on the first sheet, thus Calc has tried
to
create more than 8 million hyperlinks.
Please do not try to do this by hand in a Calc sheet. In difference to Excel,
Calc
will create hyperlinks for each and every single cell (while Excel inserts the
text
once and declares the cell area to be 'clickable'). Hyperlinks are text fields
in Calc
(complex cell contents), so this will take a lot of time and memory.
