Hi,
this is not a bug but expected behaviour. Formatting a cell gives you the
freedom to show whatever significant decimal fits your needs and is therefore a
*View* setting and will not effect the accuracy of a calculation *except* you
have set 'precission as shown' under tools-options-spreadsheet-calculate.
