Ben Collingsworth, 01/29/05
Configuration: Windows XP, OpenOffice.org 1.9.74
I reproduced this problem using OpenOffice.org version 1.9.74 with
the following steps:
1) Start a new document and enter the text:
Lab software is maintained by the administrators. Administrators upgrade
the software with each new release.
2) Enter <crtl>f to get the Find & Replace window.
3) Enter "administrator" in the Search for box.
4) Enter "system administrator" in the Replace with box.
5) Make sure all option boxes are de-selected.
6) Select the Replace All button.
7) The text is updated as follows:
Lab software is maintained by the system administrators. system
administrators upgrade the software with each new release.
If the same test is repeated using MS Word, the following result is obtained:
Lab software is maintained by the system administrators. System
administrators upgrade the software with each new release.
