Once again: this fix is not for start-up performance!
It is for updating the linguistic configuration which is not done during
start-up.
It happens for example after first start when you type some text in a Writer
document with auto-spellcheck activated.
It is the lag that occurs after typing some characters until the first word is
marked as wrong.
Some data:
On my box P4 1.8GHz, 512MB doing first start with a new and empty Writer
document, waiting until the CPU has mostly idle time and then typing some
characters updating
took about 3.7-3.9 seconds with the old code.
The new code does the same in 0.8-1.3 seconds.
(Both test given 5 tries.)
