I am pretty sure that it's also nothing with your OOo. Pls. answer to my questions (comments from rainerbielefeld Thu Oct 6 06:36:59 -0700 2005) and check your FIREFOX-configuration. I do no use FIREFOX, in my MOZILLA I can change such prefeences in Menu - edit - preferences - navigator - helper applications. There I have to set "C:\Programme\OpenOffice.org 1.9.125\program\swriter.exe" for mime-type "application/msword". I think that there is something similar in FIREFOX.
