I will attach a small document that exactly describes and illustrates the issue.
Here I summarize what is in the document:
Software: OpenOffice 2.0 RC
OS: The bug is reproducible on Windows XP and Linux.
Note: I have searched the bug database many times and do not see anything that
appears to match.
Summary:
* Description of the document: I have defined 10 outline paragraph styles and
linked them to Outline Numbering Levels using “Tools > Outline Numbering...”
* Description of the bug:
1. The <Tab> key can no longer be used to change the level of the style.
2. An “Apply Style” command using the “Styles and Formatting” fails to apply
a new style, e.g. Outline 4 or Outline 2.
To reproduce the bug:
Method 1
- Open the attached document “bug-description.odt”
- Select “Tools > Outline Numbering...” and then select “Ok” to close the
dialogue box.
- BUG!
Method 2
- Open the attached document “bug-description.odt”
- Select and copy some text. Any text will work.
- Paste the text within one of the outline levels.
- BUG!
