------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 10 12:47:20 -0700 2005 ------- The most important part of this problem is problem of intentional reproduction - there is no common indication or omens when it will happen - i met it even in 5 times smaler document. The only suggestion i can make here is that i tried to replace string while OO did not had the full document in memory (i am not familiar with mechanisms there) - the first replacement took place when only a certain part of document was processed (made available) for editing and so on (see below for what makes me think so). I can point there to another bug which has some kind of similarity: if i try to insert columns in freshly opened large table, it is possible to get it inserted only patially. As the work around for both bugs is moving to the end of document right after opening of it (and wait while OO repaginates the doc), then back to the start and make all these operations without problem. You just have to remember sequence Open/Ctrl-End/Ctrl-Home, at least - for the large documents (but this is just a workaround, not the solution of problem). Regarding hardware - i met the problems on both Dell P4/2GHz/256 RAM and "MyBrand" AMD64/3500+/1G RAM under W2K, W-XPSP2, Linux Slackware 10.2 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
