SBA: For OOo 2.0, we introduced a seperate "Table" main menu entry in Writer.
YES, this was to ease the way for "not exactly flexible" former MS Word users.
Since this (...using table component...) is the example that you gave, I
consider this issue as invalid.

A vague enhancement like "Make everything a MS Office clone" does not have a 
chance.
Well - unless we charge as much as they do, but then no one would be interested
in an alternative to MS Office anymore :-)
