------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Feb 3 11:22:43 -0800 2005 ------- Ben Collingsworth, 02/03/05 Configuration: Windows XP, OpenOffice.org 1.9.74 I produced a similar problem using OpenOffice.org version 1.9.74 with the following steps: 1) Using MS Internet Explorer, go to http://www.openoffice.org/about.html. 2) Use the "File-Save As" menu to save the page to local disk as a htm file. 3) Bring up OpenOffice.org Writer. 4) Use the "File - Open" menu item to get the Open options window 5) Use the browser to select the local copy of "About Us OpenOffice_org.htm" 6) After the file is loaded, select the "Export Directly as PDF" button in the standard tool bar. After a few seconds, OpenOffice.org Writer crashes.
