2005 -------
Confirmed. Using OOo 1.9.74 on Windows 2000 v5.0.2195 SP4
1. Open a Writer document. Enter a line or two of text.
2. Click the Export to PDF button in the toolbar.
3. Give the PDF a name you can remember.
4. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader (I had version 6.0.1 11/3/2003), and open the PDF
you just saved.
5. In Writer, click on the Export to PDF button again, and give it the same
filename as last time. Yes To Replace. You will get two errors telling you
Access Denied, then a third telling you "General Error. General input/output
error."
While Acrobat may very well have a lock on the PDF, OOo should be more graceful
in how it handles it.
P3 - No crashes, data loss, or loss of functionality observed.
