Create a Spreedsheet shortcut on Desktop 1. Open oo1.sxc with right-click on Quickstarter->Open Document 2. Open oo2.sxc by dragging and then dropping the file onto the shortcut in (0) My envrironment is OpenOffice.org 1.1.4 on English Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 1. As a follow-up test I did: 0. Create a Spreedsheet shortcut on Desktop 1. Open oo1.sxc with right-click on Quickstarter->Open Document 2. Open oo1.sxw (a Text Document) by dragging and then dropping the file onto the shortcut in (0) oo1.sxw is opened as a Text Document and Untitled1 a spreadsheet.
