@ bjsion, as you can see in Menu: "Format - characters - font" the language
preselection is "English (Australia)", so that dict. "English (UK)" can not
work.
If you change format to "English (UK)", spellcheck will work.
There is nothing mysterious, even in WORD2000 I see language preselection
"English (Australia)".
So --> Invalid
