------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Oct 27 01:52:03 -0700 2005 ------- I discovered that a simple copy/paste operation can doubled the filesize. I was rescaling images (downscaling) in a presentation and at the end. I copied an image, pasted it into a free program called XNView, downsampled it and copy/pasted it back to OpenOffice.org. Too many hires images slowed down OpenOffice.org, that's why. After editing all images, the filesize grew from 50Mb to 90Mb. The reason was that the new images were stored as PNG and not as JPG were the originals. It would be nice if: 1- One could define the file format of an image in presentation (how it's stored in the document) 2- Have a function as is present in M* PP that allows to automatically downscale all images to fit the desktop resolution. Especially with increasing resolutions of digital camera's. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
