rolfmeyer, are you using UNC paths or mapped drives? Can you test with both?
Do the path names contain an underscore or hyphen?
UNC paths look like this: \\server\share\filename.odt
Mapped drives look like this: s:\filename.odt
UNC paths are what you get when you use the "Network Neighborhood."
