That is the toggle button or strip should be on the right when the style list is docked on the right, and on the left when the style list is docked on the left. The toggle is a strip when the style list is closed, so it is easy to show, but just a button when it is open so is harder to hide. If it could be an unmoving full height strip it would be better.
