2005 -------
The problem is reproducible in Ooo1.1.3, Ooo1.1.4 on Window XP build 2600 Intel
Pentium 3 processor 996MHz, 512MB of RAM as reported.
I also tried on new EMF files. Some files worked fine(e.g: undeffected.zip), but
some had the deffects.
The files fig11_2.emf(third graph) and fig11_3a.emf had longer curves which were
out of the border at the bottom of the graphs (when I viewed them with Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer or imported them to MS Word, I didn't see that longer
extra curve)
The files âTestText.emfâ and âHimetricTest.emfâ were not shown
properly. The
words of the text(e.g: âSay Hello Using Draw Textâ) were beside each other
, so
looked as if they were one word (e.g: SayHelloUsingDrawText).
It was kind of difficult to understand problem 3 in the report. As I understood,
the size and the ratio of vertical and horizontal sizes of the graphic were
changed automatically even I didn't resize it and was working somewhere else in
the document. However, I could not replicate the bug. I tried to shift graphic
up and down or type new text and insert new graphics at the top or bottom it ,
the size was the same.
It also reproduced in Ooo1.1.0 under Linux 2.4.26 i686 Intel Celeron 766MHz
128MB RAM. When I copied and pasted âsample.emfâ file into any application
of
OpenOffice, the top of it and the text in vertical left of the graphic were cut
off.
I think this bug should be fixed because we should be able to insert any emf
file without any deffect.
