------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Feb 4 12:19:22 -0800 2005 ------- I replicated the bug with OOo 1.1.2 and Windows XP Version 2002 Service Pack2. Here are the replication steps: 1.Open a new text document. 2.Type sentence âMy name is Steve Zhang.â. User can type any sentence as long as there is a new word undefined in the dictionary at the end of the sentence. 3.Spell check the sentence. <Tools -> Spellcheck -> check> âZhang.âthe new word with a period appears in the spelling check box. I can not replicate the bug with other symbols include: ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ - + = | \ : ; â ' < , > / ? * It looks like it only appears when user ends the sentence with a period. I think the main course is that spelling checker doesn't consider other symbols as the ending symbol. Once the spelling checker encounters the last word in a sentence, it extracts the last word together with the ending period and displays it in the dialog box. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
