2005 -------
- open a new spreadsheet doc
- open the "Styles and Formatting" tool (F11)
- create a new style inheriting from the existent "Default" style
- for the new style, activate diagonal borders
- assign the new style to an arbitrary cell, note that this cell gets diagonal
borders,
  as expected
- save and reload the document
=> the cell does not have diagonal borders anymore

It turns out the cell still has the proper style assigned, but the diagonal
borders on that style got lost (while other border attributes, if you try them,
are well preserved)
