Sorry, but wontfix is not acceptable.
Your statement regarding the requirement (unlikely to be needed since now OOo
uses JMF) is just wrong.
If reenabling this feature means a loss in performance when switching to the
next slide, so be it.
Disable it for the slides with plugin-objects or for a whole presentation
containing plugin-objects, but this has to be reenabled.
The current situation breaks compatibility with old presentations/OOo 1.1.x as a
whole and furthermore makes the whole plugin & applet functionality useless.
