I retried on KDE and found out that there is a conflict with Klipper (the KDE clipboard tool). If Klipper is running, the problem exists, and looking at the clipboard contents (with Klipper) you can see the imported spreadsheet contents (even if blank). If Klipper is NOT running, OOo works correctly. *I am using KDE 3.4.2 I don't know if it's an OOo problem or a KDE problem.
