Using the open new database dialogue
select connect to an existing database
     specify Microsoft Access
choose an existing .mdb file (Access 97 and Access 2003 formats tried)
Get this registered as an OO database

Examine table design of any application table
columns are in alphabetical order NOT the original design order

A table copy from the MSAccess db to an empty native embedded OO database
retains the unwanted column order
