as mentioned there are conflicting requests.
Since OOo is more and more using native components, including the GTK-filepicker
and soon the KDE-filepicker, there is no need to update or change the behaviour
of OOo's own dialog.
Both the gtk and kde filepicker provide easy access to a selection of favorite
directories, the OOo-filepicker allows to quickly return to the work-dir defined
in the options.
Bottom line is:
Bigger fish to catch, this issue will only be adressed if someone volunteers to
provide the code.
Thus resolving worksforme with target OOoPleaseHelp.
