------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 7 01:50:59 -0800 2005 ------- Open a blank master document. Press F5 to open Navigator. From the Insert icon insert a file. Pick a OO.o document and click Insert. Now as soon as you finish the insert, the file turns red [literally] showing that the reference is invalid./ non-existent. The filename is shown as 'Somefile.odtwriter8'. Now use the Edit LInk option of the filename in navigator to edit the referenced link as '...path....\Somefile.odt'. Now the reference works fine; double clicking will open it.
