Please refer to Issue 15113, which has been resolved on MS Windows OS, for
background to this problem as the sysmptoms are almost identical on Linux. Not
sure whether to reopen 15113 or post new Issue. Frank Schonheit helped to
resolve 15113 to a large degree on MS Windows.

The database we are trying to query is IBM's UniVerse database and resides on
AIX 5.1 and SUSE 9.2 platforms.

The client is OOo on a Linux desktop and run on Mandrake 10 and SUSE 9.2

Briefly, the JDBC driver loads ok and a connection to the database can be
opened. However no tables can be accessed, ie. not "visible" and a query
created in SQL mode returns the following:

The data content could not be loaded
ResultSet Type 1,005 is not supported

Have also run the 'universe settings.bas' macro provided as a patch for Issue
15113

On MS Windows at OOo 2 the macro works and database access is ok.

Regards
Ian Stuart
