------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Nov 23 08:57:43 -0800 2005 ------- I am reporting this for someone else so I may have missed a fine detail. If a header is created with custom fields, the field links to other parts of the document are lost when changing the format of the page. The Field still exists but not linked any more. The original field is gone. Problem seen on Windows and Linux versions of OOo 2.0 using a default style. Create a document with a header and footer. Insert a field in the header called "top" Insert a field in the header called "bottom" under the first field. Link the two fields into the footer. Right click on the page and select page. Change any aspect, even an Organizer > Name change and the links for the fields are broken. Not only is the link broken, but it cannot be referenced again. A new "set reference" must be created with a different name. If the original field is on a page but not a header, the links are not broken. Undo will repair the broken link. The version of OOo on the Windows machine was downloaded and installed yesterday. The Linux version is the Fedora modified version. This is being used so a single change to the header will allow changes all the way through the document for right or left page styles. This is being done with a template (ott) file. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
